I needed a new PSU after upgrading my video card to an 8800 GS and only having a 380 W PSU. I found this Antec EA650 for a good price on Amazon via DataVision Computer Video. It does what it advertises and it should prove to be able to handle upgrades for a long time as it offers lots of Watts on the three 12 Volt rails (22A, 22A & 25A). [...]
This is my second Antec PSU and they have run quite well for me.

I purchased this unit to power a HIS HD 4670 iSilence4 Native HDMI 1GB (128bit) 850 MHz DDR3 PCIe in an Asus CG5720. Though it was the first of two components I have ever installed into a PC, it was a snap. Keep you old supply connected but remove it from the housing. Then mount the Antec. Unplug one connection at a time from your old supply then plug it into the appropriate connection on the Antec. It was a breeze. This thing runs quietly and hasn’t had any glitches since.

When purchasing my latest PC from Dell a year ago I opted to upgrade many of the features including the RAM, CPU and Graphics card. What I failed to take into account and wasn’t alerted to by Dell, was that the PSU could barely take these upgrades. So when researching new additions to my PC I realized I would need a significant upgrade over the 300 Watts I had.
After reading multiple reviews I chose the Antec EarthWatts 650w as it clearly met my needs and budget. The item was easy generally easy to install, although the amount of cables left little spare room inside my case (which isn’t particularly small). It is clearly a quality product as it felt significantly heavier and sturdier than the PSU I replaced.
So far the PSU has done everything I have asked of it without any hesitation, including graphics, video editing and gaming (Empire: Total War & Fallout 3: Game of The Year Edition). It is quiet, powerful and eco friendly. Short of having a huge gaming rig this will be more than enough for the average user, just don’t buy it if you have a minuscule case.

Easy to install and no problems. I replaced a 350 w power supply in one of my computers and no more problems. I bought this second power suppy for a new pc I’m assembling.

This is a great PS (power supply) unit. Not only is it very quiet (good for me), my PF is around 98% (good for the power company), and the 80 plus rating ensures that it is significantly more efficient than my older PS units (good for the environment as most of my electricity is produced by somewhat-less-than-green sources). While this is my first Earthwatts series unit, I do own mulitple Antec units and have never experienced a failure.
